Dance/Music Improv

Improvisation at Contemporary Arts Center

Anthony Rabara and Fanchon Shur, with flute and cello, improvise in the street in front of CAC. They had never danced together and the audience is made up of pedestrians on their way. Anthony was a professional ballet dancer, Fanchon trained in Modern dance and they merged their styles with spontaneously designed dance dialogues. Anthony loved it, and told Fanchon that it brought back the child in him. It was part of the “Arts in Public Places” designed by Boris Goldmund and funded by Cincinnati’s Metro transportation company.
